I use this light on my ambulance, is handy on night-time scenes, for locating addresses and performing scene searches. It is a bright, solid light that has a wide spread up close w/ a tight center beam which for distance. I have had no issues w/ battery life so far. The only thing resembling a negative so far is the size of the head. This is not a light you can easily carry in your pocket or on a duty belt, this is less of a problem for me, I have an entire ambulance to carry stuff around for me, and in a pinch you can drop it in a large cargo pocket. I would purchase it again or recommend it to someone else. (Posted on 3/31/12)
